I was introduced to clay in childhood, taking short courses in after-school programs and a summer at Interlochen Center for the Arts. While I loved the medium, I didn't have the opportunity to continue until adulthood when a pottery studio opened across the street from my work at Greenpoint Stages. I was eager to get back on the wheel and quickly realized I had a lot left to learn. I studied under Minkyung Choi, regaining my confidence in the medium.
The pictured pieces are a product of almost two years of instruction, practice, and many mistakes. I'm so grateful for learning from Min, and I look forward to continuing my work.
These pieces are available for purchase through Yankee Clipper Trading Co. Feel free to contact me for commissions.
